"Primal" Food Basics

You're not meant to be constantly hungry, overfed, overweight, and pre-diabetic.
But, that's exactly where you're headed if you're eating the Standard American Diet (Pssst...This is the diet you were probably raised on...I know I was).
If you haven't noticed by now, Primal Platoon promotes the consumption of Primal-based foods for optimal health.
It’s not the only way to better health, but it’s one of the simplest dietary patterns to follow since there’s no reliance on products, pills, “diet” foods, or dieting cults.
For many nutrition experts, "Primal" is nothing more than a cool, trendy word used to sell dieting books. But, it means nothing more than real food, so I’ll spare you the whole talk about cavemen and how our primitive ancestors somehow ate better than we do now.
From a nutrition standpoint, the best diets in the world vary in a lot of ways, but they can all be identified by this one simple formula: They consist of mostly real, whole foods, and discourage added sugars and refined carbs.
Essentially, "Primal” in the dieting sense means nothing processed, nothing refined, nothing bio-engineered or genetically modified.
Most importantly, no products or gadgets offering the magic solution to a beach body. Basically, primal foods are those that scientists didn't mess with in a lab.
